Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement by implementing and maintaining best practices throughout the plant.
  • Lead the deployment of Dana Operating System (DOS) initiatives, including Black Belt and Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence programs, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Develop and execute Kaizen projects, focusing on process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Implement Poke-yoke designs to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive tangible results.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and identify opportunities for further optimization.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively motivate and guide teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Master Black Belt or Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
