Role Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing a range of general, mechanical, and preventive maintenance tasks, along with conducting inspections, repairs, and relocating equipment within the Avera facilities.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years in a related field is required.
Licenses/Certifications
  • Upon employment:
    • Valid Driver's License
  • Within four months:
    • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
  • Within six months:
    • Minnesota Boiler's license
Work Schedule
  • Day shifts; 64 hours every two weeks
    • On-call schedule once a month for maintenance technician.
Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is as follows, with actual pay determined by experience:
  • $28.75 per hour
