Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Florida, serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Our caseloads include students with severe behavioral needs, and we are looking for candidates who thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs, including severe behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Assist with virtual SLP services to ensure comprehensive support for all students.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Florida state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn about severe behavioral needs.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different service delivery models (onsite, hybrid, VOCO).
  • Proficiency in technology for virtual service provision.
