Residence Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Residence Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative supervision of assigned Residential Services staff, including hiring, firing, discipline, performance evaluation, in-service education and training, and ensuring adequate staffing within budgetary constraints. The Coordinator must possess strong leadership and teambuilding skills, as well as managerial courage and effective supervisory and quality decision-making skills. The Residence Coordinator must also demonstrate strong interpersonal savvy and interpersonal skills, including compassion, composure, approachability, integrity, and trust, as well as fairness to direct reports, listening, and keeping others informed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative supervision of assigned Residential Services staff
- Develop and maintain adequate staffing requirements within budgetary constraints
- Coordinate staff orientation and identify additional staff training needs
- Oversee all aspects of assigned homes workforce, including timely completion of disciplinary actions and other personnel-related matters
- Maintain effective communication with facility staff through formal and informal visits
- Participate in staff meetings at assigned homes
Requirements:
- Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) certification
- Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience, or Master's degree and one year of related experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for work or equivalent accommodations
Working Conditions:
The Residence Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. The Coordinator must be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly and concisely, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
