Job Description

This position combines Night Auditor responsibilities with Front Desk duties. The Night Auditor handles daily accounting tasks, such as reconciling credit card transactions and financial records, while also providing exceptional guest service and handling Front Desk duties to accommodate late-night guests.

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile credit card transactions and financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, including checking in and out guests, answering phone calls, and responding to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Balance cash receipts and work performed during previous shifts, and perform a bucket check on shift.
  • Post all guest charges, complete cashier and other reports, and check departure folios to ensure accuracy.
  • Run final night audit and associated reports, and interact with site accounting regarding daily credit card transactions.
  • Perform daily walks of common areas to ensure cleanliness and presentability.
  • Provide management with a report of night's events via MOD Report.
Requirements
  • Ability to multi-task with flexibility based on priority shifts.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to deal with internal & external guests with a high level of professionalism, tact and diplomacy.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Previous guest relations training and experience. Specific Night Audit experience highly preferred.
  • Must be available to work overnight: Hours for this position are 11 PM – 7 AM.
