Job Summary
This General Assembly position will support various production departments within our Winona Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, kitting, and packaging products according to specified instructions, verifying correct quantities and quality checks, and performing electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and package products according to specified instructions and drawings
- Verify correct quantities and quality checks of packaged items
- Perform electrical assembly and sub-assembly processes using hand tools and electronic tools
- Operate machines as needed
- Rotate to various workstations as required
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Maintain clean and orderly workstations and equipment
- Follow prescribed safety regulations
- Assist other positions and departments as needed
Requirements
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery
- Ability to learn to read and interpret documents such as work orders, production schedules, and work instructions
- Familiarity with materials, tools, and methods of the process
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage time efficiently and without direct supervision
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations
- Ability to work overtime with notice when necessary
