Key Responsibilities- Design and develop battery systems that meet our safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate battery systems with vehicle and powertrain engineering
- Develop and maintain 3D designs and GD&T drawings of complex parts and assemblies
- Own basic on-site component and system level testing to support design and specification changes
- Partner with manufacturing engineering teams to develop new processes and materials
- Strong engineering fundamentals in materials and mechanics
- Demonstrated ability to actively find problems and solutions
- Detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills
- Experience with CAD modeling (CATIA V5/3DX a plus)
