Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis:
- Perform comprehensive market analysis to identify customer preferences, needs, and emerging trends. This includes data evaluation, survey execution, and stakeholder feedback collection.
- Utilize findings to shape the product strategy and development roadmap.
- Strategic Product Development:
- Formulate a product strategy that aligns with the overarching objectives of the organization. This encompasses establishing the product vision, identifying target demographics, and crafting positioning and differentiation tactics.
- Roadmap Creation:
- Design a product roadmap that delineates critical milestones, features, and enhancements slated for the product lifecycle. This roadmap serves as a blueprint for the development team, aiding in task prioritization and resource allocation.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams, including engineering and design, to specify product requirements, user narratives, and technical specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive business cases, addressing revenue projections, volume estimates, selling propositions, profitability, and return on investment.
- Oversee the product development journey from conception to market introduction, ensuring the timely rollout of high-caliber products.
- Requirement Analysis:
- Engage with various stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and development teams, to collect and prioritize product requirements. This involves translating user needs into actionable specifications.
- Competitive Landscape Evaluation:
- Examine competitor offerings and strategies to pinpoint strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This analysis informs product decisions and differentiation strategies.
- Collaborative Efforts:
- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as design, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure cohesive efforts throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Feature Prioritization:
- Assess and prioritize features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and resource availability. This requires making informed trade-offs to maximize product value and success.
- Market Launch Strategies:
- Devise go-to-market strategies and plans for new product launches, including messaging, pricing, and promotional initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to boost awareness, drive demand, and support sales enablement efforts.
- Performance Evaluation:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of laundry products.
- Continuously monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market dynamics to identify areas for enhancement and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience (5 – 10 years) in product management within the laundry sector.
