Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative in the Pharmacy Call Center is responsible for managing a high volume of incoming calls related to medication refills. This role involves analyzing and resolving customer inquiries, clarifying issues, and maintaining the integrity of the Pharmacy Call Center database.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in a high-volume customer service environment, billing, insurance, or a related healthcare setting is essential.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of experience in call center operations or scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Prior knowledge of outpatient pharmacy and/or hospital operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Siemens, Call Center databases, ACD telephone systems, and Outpatient Pharmacy programs is preferred.
  • Training or certification in pharmacy (or medical) billing is a plus.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday shifts.
