Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative in the Pharmacy Call Center is responsible for managing a high volume of incoming calls related to medication refills. This role involves analyzing and resolving customer inquiries, clarifying issues, and maintaining the integrity of the Pharmacy Call Center database.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of six months of experience in a high-volume customer service environment, billing, insurance, or a related healthcare setting is essential.
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of experience in call center operations or scheduling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Prior knowledge of outpatient pharmacy and/or hospital operations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Siemens, Call Center databases, ACD telephone systems, and Outpatient Pharmacy programs is preferred.
- Training or certification in pharmacy (or medical) billing is a plus.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday shifts.
