Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Gaithersburg, MD. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide out-patient services for children and families and/or adults, utilizing a wraparound approach to treatment.
About the Role:- Meet with assigned clients in group, individual, joint, or family sessions, adhering to established practice standards and expectations.
- Schedule appointments with clients according to program standards.
- Complete clinical notes and other paperwork as required within documentation deadlines.
- Maintain contact with referral sources and work cooperatively with other members of the client's treatment team.
- Respect client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline.
- Licensed in the state of Maryland as a LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC.
- Previous experience in psychotherapy is desired.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and travel 60% of the time.
- Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic differences among the service population.
