Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Bridge Crews: Lead and manage a team of bridge carpenters, laborers, and pile drivers in a heavy highway/bridge construction environment.
  • Plan and Manage Production: Develop and implement production plans to ensure efficient and safe construction processes.
  • Review Construction Plans: Analyze and interpret construction plans to determine design and specifications.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Verify that all work meets project specifications and is completed in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Manage Materials and Reporting: Oversee the accurate reporting of materials used and time reporting for the crew.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in managing a crew of bridge carpenters, laborers, and pile drivers in a heavy highway/bridge construction environment.
  • Skills: Excellent supervisory and communication skills, ability to read blueprints, and hands-on knowledge of every aspect of bridge construction.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in Florida heat and rain, and around heavy highway traffic areas, with an average of 10 hours per day, 5 days (and occasionally 6 days) per week.
