Job Title: Tool Maker

About the Role:

Styled as a vital cog in the production process, the Tool Maker is a key figure at SURESTAFF LLC. With an emphasis on efficiency, precision, and teamwork, our ideal candidate will be tasked with setting up and operating equipment in the Tool Room and Die Cast departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of the Tool Maker include setting up and operating Lathes, Surface Grinders, Milling Machines, monitoring process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems, executing tooling changeovers per work instructions, building small to medium die cast and injection molds from tooling drawings and piece part prints, and troubleshooting molding problems.

Requirements:

Required qualifications of the Tool Maker include previous experience in production and machine operating (Lathes, Surface Grinders), previous experience in plastics injection molding and die casting a plus, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
