As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will be responsible for implementing physician-prescribed plans of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Provide health education and training to family members
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
