Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and supporting the overall operations of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Engage with customers and patients, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Operations: Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, review and comply with company policies, and perform duties as assigned.
  • Clinical Support: Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow, report prescription errors, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Lead pharmacy department inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Training and Development: Maintain PTCB or ExCPT certification, attend training, and complete PPLs as requested by manager.

Requirements:

  • PTCB or ExCPT certification
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Basic math skills (counting, measuring, and weighing medications)
  • Basic level PC skills (starting and shutting down computer, using mouse, starting and closing programs, etc.)
