We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Meijer. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Filling prescriptions safely and accurately
- Maintaining positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership
- Leading pharmacy technicians to achieve results and grow the pharmacy business
- Educating and mentoring pharmacy technicians to be effective team members
- Motivating team members to perform at their highest level
- Staying up-to-date on Meijer Policies and Procedures, as well as state and federal laws
- Effective communication and being an agent of change
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving patient needs
- Overseeing pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge
- Performing and overseeing clinical services, including immunizations
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
- Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies, and procedures
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in the state the unit operates
