Job Title: General Manager

Job Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct a team of associates to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise and manage a team of store managers and associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Develop and implement store strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase profitability.
  • Manage store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the corporate office to implement company-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in a high-volume, big-box retail environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing profitability.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of associates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, associates, and corporate partners.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in PC-based software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and data management systems.
