We offer a competitive salary range of $20-$26 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

 

**Job Description**

As an ABA Therapist - Behavioral Health Specialist at Achieving Stars Therapy, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• Collecting data on client behavior during sessions

• Assisting in the development and implementation of care plans

• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

• Utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records

• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism

• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques

• A high school diploma or equivalent

• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to travel 100% (Required)
