Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and inspections of fire suppression and alarm systems to ensure compliance with fire life and safety codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire suppression and alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems and interpret manufacturers' manuals and documents.
  • Work closely with supervisors and higher-level technicians to receive guidance and support as needed.
  • Perform physical labor, including walking, standing, lifting up to 40lbs, and climbing ladders, to complete duties assigned.
Requirements
  • NICET 3: Wet suppression certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in water-based fire protection systems layout, including hydraulic calculations and management of water-based system layout projects.
  • Training on fire alarm systems, including Simplex and Notifier.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface and coordinate with other technicians.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
