Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at CoStar Group. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our software products and services.

Responsibilities

* Design and implement cloud infrastructure using cloudformation, terraform or similar platforms

* Ensure the smooth operation of software products and services across multiple brands and software products

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

* Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency

* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices



Requirements

* 5+ years' experience with managing heavy web traffic sites using mass scale architecture with a developer focus

* Solid sizing and estimation techniques for small to medium size tasks and projects

* Configuration management tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible)

* Infrastructure as code using Cloudformation, Terraform or similar platforms

* Experience with enterprise monitoring tools in areas of APM, system vitals, synthetics and RUM

* Heavy scripting support (PowerShell), Bash, Ruby, Groovy

* Experience with configuring Content Delivery Networks (CDN) for performance caching and global traffic management
