Job Summary

JobsRUs is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold food items for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to order, using basic cooking techniques and following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment, including grills, stoves, and mixers, to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, and shred fruits and vegetables, and trim and cut meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use.
  • Prepare and serve food to customers, including a la carte and batch goods, using a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including HACCP policies and procedures, to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations and meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and cash-handling procedures a plus.
