Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct nursing care in alignment with the established policies and protocols of the healthcare organization. The nurse is expected to maintain the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care that is appropriate for the age and needs of the patients served in the assigned unit.

Essential Duties
- Conduct daily assessments of all patients to ensure quality care and service.
- Develop individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments that address the physical, psychological, social, and educational needs of patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and nursing requirements, setting goals and determining appropriate nursing actions.
- Recognize early warning signs of patient deterioration and respond effectively, including notifying the relevant clinicians.
- Document and report significant observations and patient reactions accurately to the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license from the appropriate board or compact state agreement.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within a specified timeframe.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred within a designated period.
