Tact Staff is in search of a dedicated travel nurse RN specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

We are offering 5 positions at a competitive rate of $100.00/hour. The roles include a mix of rotating shifts, with options for straight night and day shifts.
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct nursing care in alignment with the established protocols and standards of the organization. The nurse must possess the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care tailored to the age and needs of the patients on the assigned unit. Coordination of patient care within the interdisciplinary team is essential, along with providing education to ensure safe patient discharge.
Key Duties:
- Conduct daily assessments of all patients to ensure quality service and address unmet needs.
- Develop individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments that consider the patient's physical, psychological, social, and educational requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions, setting achievable goals and implementing appropriate nursing interventions.
- Recognize early signs of patient deterioration and respond effectively, including notifying the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations and care provided, ensuring timely communication with the multidisciplinary team.
Certifications Required:
- Registered Nurse license from the North Dakota Board of Nursing or Compact State Agreement
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
- Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) (preferred)
Notes:
Temporary RN licenses may be accepted prior to the start date. Candidates with RN Graduate Work Authorization are also encouraged to apply.
