Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee sophisticated automation and SCADA initiatives across diverse sectors, ensuring exceptional quality and performance standards.
- Guide and participate in the design, development, and execution of intricate SCADA frameworks and solutions.
- Offer expert advice and practical assistance for the integration and management of HMI systems, including FTView ME/SE, Wonderware InTouch, AVEVA System Platform, iFIX, and Cimplicity.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of SCADA platforms such as Ignition, GeoSCADA, VTSCADA, and Cygnet to enhance system efficiency and dependability.
- Administer and leverage historians and databases, including FT Historian, WW Historian, SQL-based historians, Pi, SQL, and Snowflake, to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Employ advanced scripting capabilities in SQL, VB6, VB .NET, Python, C++, and C# for the automation and customization of processes.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of computing fundamentals, including operating systems, virtual machines (VMs), and user account management.
- Lead teams and manage quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) processes to guarantee successful project outcomes.
- Provide commissioning support and engage directly with clients to address their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Significant experience in one or more of the following sectors: Oil & Gas, Water/Wastewater, Chemical, Mining, Manufacturing, and Food & Beverage.
- Thorough understanding of pertinent regulatory frameworks, including DOT, PHMSA, and Production Accounting.
- Demonstrated leadership in complex automation and SCADA environments.
- Advanced technical knowledge across a variety of HMI, SCADA, historian, and database platforms.
- Ability to navigate and implement regulatory requirements within the automation sector.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with the capability to effectively communicate intricate technical concepts.
