Key Responsibilities:
The role involves managing all facets of patient tray preparation and delivery to patient/resident floors and directly to bedsides. Responsibilities include:
- Executing dish room tasks efficiently.
- Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of workspaces.
- Preparing various food items, including snacks, sandwiches, pureed dishes, salads, appetizers, and desserts.
- Serving as a communication link between patients, the Food and Nutrition Department, and Nursing Services during meal times to address all dietary needs.
Additionally, the position requires:
- Performing tasks related to the management of patient/resident dietary information, including menu distribution and collection.
- Potential training in dietary modifications.
- Assuming Lead Hospitality Associate duties when necessary.
- Completing other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Host/Hostess or Diet Technician is preferred. Familiarity with patient menu management is advantageous. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to perform well under pressure.
