Boston-based Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician Assistant to join our team at the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a critical member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with attending intensivists, and contributing to the development of treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Graduate Level accredited Physician Assistant Program approved by the AMA Board of Approval and Certification of PA programs, NCCPA certification, and a license as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts. Previous experience in an academic surgical/medical environment and inpatient medicine/surgery and/or critical care are preferred.

In this role, you will display excellent patient-care skills, strong competency for the evaluation and treatment of critically ill patients, ability to learn, perform, and assist with various technical procedures requiring excellent manual dexterity, strong clinical knowledge of medicine, surgery, and critical care, and knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to adolescents and adults, ages 13 and above.

As a Critical Care Physician Assistant, you will work under the direction of supervising critical care attendings, provide teaching to medical students and physician assistant students, and participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and research efforts. You will also stay up-to-date on the latest literature in surgical critical care practice.

This is a full-time position with a minimum of 25% night shifts. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
