Job Summary
The Critical Care Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing direct patient care, performing various procedures, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Key duties include:
  • Assessing patient conditions and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based medicine.

Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this critical role, you must possess strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. We seek candidates who are certified by the NCCPA, hold a valid license as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts, and maintain DEA and controlled substance licenses. Experience in an academic surgical/medical environment is highly preferred, as well as proficiency with BWH computer systems and BLS/ACLS certification.
