Direct Care Supervisor

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing and managing various homes that provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will supervise lower-level direct care staff, ensuring the health and safety of the individuals served in their assigned home.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assign staff assignments and oversee daily operations
* Audit documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
* Provide training to staff and observe resident behavior
* Participate in the Individual's Interdisciplinary Team and provide highly skilled services to individuals with behavioral and/or mental health challenges

Requirements:

* High school diploma and four years of experience in direct care services
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges
* Valid New Mexico driver's license and Defensive Driving Certification

Working Conditions:

* Work is performed in an office setting and in community-based homes
* Position requires the ability to lift/push/transfer and/or carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 100 pounds with assistance
