Job Summary:
Mass General Brigham is seeking a Perioperative Float Nurse to join our team. As a Perioperative Float Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the perioperative setting
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure timely and efficient patient care
- Provide education to patients and families regarding their plan of care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve defined patient outcomes
Requirements:
- BSN required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred
- PACU experience strongly preferred
- ASPAN membership preferred
- CPAN/CAPA certification preferred
