Position Title: KAflex Assembly Specialist

Overview:

Kamatics Corp. Defunct is seeking a skilled KAflex Assembly Specialist to contribute to our manufacturing operations. This role is integral to the assembly and quality assurance processes within the KAflex division.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute all assembly tasks within a designated cell.
  2. Assemble and fine-tune intricate components to meet specifications.
  3. Label, package, and mark parts appropriately, ensuring adjustments align with customer requirements.
  4. Develop and document comprehensive assembly procedures.
  5. Adhere to productivity and quality standards while following established work protocols.
  6. Set up and operate various assembly machines, mastering at least two of them.
  7. Serve as a problem-solver for assembly-related issues, escalating as necessary.
  8. Provide training to fellow assemblers on operational processes.
  9. Occasionally perform machinist duties as required.
  10. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of mechanical components, ensuring compliance with strict tolerances.
  11. Identify and report defects or non-conformities to maintain high-quality standards.
  12. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety regulations.
  13. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and participate in the 5S program.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment
