Clinical Nurse Specialist

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care within our esteemed facility. We are committed to redefining skilled nursing through innovative practices and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Uphold and interpret the standards of nursing practice, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and protocols.
2. Conduct thorough assessments and interventions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to influence nursing policies.
3. Oversee the admission and transfer processes of residents, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to facility protocols.
4. Supervise nursing staff, ensuring effective communication of resident reports and assignments.
5. Assist in the development and revision of individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments of resident needs.
6. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, ensuring alignment with established priorities and outcomes.
7. Facilitate education for residents and families, addressing learning needs related to discharge plans.
8. Ensure accurate medication administration and documentation, investigating any discrepancies promptly.
9. Maintain a safe environment by reporting and documenting incidents and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Preferred M.S./B.S. or equivalent experience
- Current nursing license in Tennessee
- Proven clinical competence and leadership abilities
- Understanding of the aging process and its implications for care
Work Schedule:
Available positions for Full-Time and Part-Time, covering both Day and Night shifts.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $48 to $50, with a sign-on bonus available.
