About the Role

As a DevSecOps Principal Consultant at Capco, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients' DevSecOps practices. With a strong track record of leading large-scale transformations in complex, regulated environments, you will bring your expertise to drive innovation and operational soundness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy, focusing on automation, operational soundness, and alignment with best practices.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, providing updates, facilitating review sessions, and ensuring alignment with the client's strategic goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to client teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the client's existing DevSecOps processes, tooling, and capabilities, preparing a detailed findings report with gap analysis and recommendations.
  • Define the future state for People, Process, and Technology in line with DevSecOps principles, incorporating Everything-as-Code, Shift-left strategies, and a SaaS security model.
  • Develop and oversee a multi-year, phased implementation roadmap to achieve the target state, including enterprise tooling, metrics automation, and squad uplift.
  • Establish and define the mission, organizational role, and responsibilities of a DevSecOps Center of Excellence (COE), including a collaboration model with various squads and operations.
  • Identify high-impact quick wins and guide the implementation of strategic tooling for both enterprise and squad levels in collaboration with client teams, adhering to Agile best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in DevSecOps, with a strong track record of leading large-scale transformations in complex, regulated environments.
  • Deep knowledge of DevSecOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud platforms, Everything-as-Code, and Shift-left security strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-year, multi-phased projects, with a focus on delivery acceleration and operational soundness.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and leading high-performing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., DevOps, SRE, CISSP, CISM, PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
