Educational Requirements
Applicants must possess a doctoral degree with relevant research experience in Plant Pathology.

Experience and Skills

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger interdisciplinary team is essential. Additionally, candidates should be capable of managing multiple academic projects efficiently.

Licensure
A PhD in Plant Pathology or a closely related discipline is required.

Physical Demands
The role may require prolonged periods of sitting.

Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Job Summary
The Department of Plant Pathology is looking for a Postdoctoral Scholar to collaborate on various research initiatives, particularly focusing on hemp-related projects, including seed disease investigations and biocontrol assessments in both field and greenhouse settings. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on funding and departmental needs.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Plant Pathology or a related field and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not include supervisory duties.
