Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist

Job Specialty: Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) & Day 4x10-Hour (11:00 - 21:00)

Guaranteed Hours:

Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience Required

License: Valid State License (specific state licensure applicable)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS, RCES

Must-Have:

  • 1 prior travel assignment
  • Flu vaccine (No Exemptions)

Job Description:

  • Assist with cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including EKG and cardiac studies
  • Conduct head-up tilt tests and cardioversions
  • Scrub, monitor, and circulate during procedures
  • Implant devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and Watchman
  • Handle device explants and lead extractions
  • Perform hemodynamic monitoring using Philips Xray and GE Micropacer equipment
  • Utilize equipment such as 3D mapping systems, ultrasound machines, and Laser Lead machine
  • Participate in modules which may vary by specialty

Other Information:

  • Scrubs provided
  • Short-term acute care teaching hospital with top heart and vascular centers recognition
  • Charting conducted via Cerner system
  • Orientation includes 28 hours, with 50% being non-billable
