Career Opportunities: Electrical Systems Design Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Design Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our Commercial Chiller products.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing and integrating chiller and motor control hardware, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet product requirements, and ensuring code compliance is maintained. You will also contribute to the development of new product designs and features, working closely with product management, software, chiller systems, and compression engineering teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in control panel design and layout, electrical component sizing and application. An MS in electrical engineering is preferred, as is project leadership experience and HVAC industry experience. Strong communication skills, primarily in English, are essential for this role.
