Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our dialysis clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring the highest level of safety and effectiveness.
- Assist with dialysis treatments, including setup, operation, and maintenance of hemodialysis machines.
- Support infection control practices and participate in infection control audits.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Document patient information accurately and timely, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
