Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineering Intern to join our team at Walker Consultants. As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will assist project teams on design, restoration, and building envelope projects, including:
- Assisting project teams on design, restoration, and building envelope projects.
- Preparing project documents, including drawings and reports.
- Participating in on-site condition assessment teams to determine the causes and solutions of deterioration or confirm as-built conditions.
- Visiting job sites to observe construction and submitting field reports to Project Managers as needed.
- Assisting with the structural design of conventional elements of projects.
- Reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A junior or senior level standing (or Master's student) in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- An overall GPA of 3.25 or higher.
