Job Title: Principal's Secretary - Temporary Position

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the school, providing administrative support to the principal, including reviewing correspondence, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings and events.
  • Site Resource Management: Handle tasks related to absence management, finding and assigning substitute teachers, professional growth tasks, and monitoring incoming applicants for open positions.
  • Reception Duties: Serve as the secondary point of contact for visitors and phone inquiries, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Primary contact for vendors and other service providers. Coverage for the reception office as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in office administrative support is desired, with demonstrated proficiency in word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to handle light to moderate physical activity, including occasional lifting up to 25 lbs, and be able to work in an environment with varying noise levels.
