Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Alaant. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring our products meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing robust quality assurance protocols
- Conducting routine inspections and testing to ensure products meet industry standards
- Identifying, documenting, and addressing quality issues swiftly
- Analyzing production processes to pinpoint areas for improvement
- Implementing corrective action and preventive actions to eliminate quality issues and avoid recurrence
- Preparing and presenting quality reports and performance metrics to management and stakeholders
- Maintaining strong knowledge and application of ISO9001 standards in an ISO-regulated environment
Requirements for the Quality Assurance Specialist role include:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering within a machine shop or contract manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or similar preferred
- Experience with ISO9001 environment
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Cardholder
