Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Nursing to join our team. As a Nursing Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Nursing courses at various times and locations. You will create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material. You will also submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Nursing courses at a variety of times and locations
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
- Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in nursing OR Master's degree or higher in any field, with a bachelor's degree in nursing from an approved or accredited baccalaureate program in nursing and at least six (6) graduate semester hours in nursing appropriate to assigned teaching responsibilities
- 3 years nonteaching work experience in the field
- Current license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas
