Overview

Ascension Seton is a leading healthcare organization in Central Texas, operating over 100 clinical locations and four teaching hospitals. We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to lead our CT department.

Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, with experience in CT scanning and leadership skills. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring quality image and patient care, while monitoring documentation and workflow.

  • Lead the daily operations of assigned department's services.
  • Ensure quality image, patient care and work flow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy.
  • Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting.
Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Serving as a resource to department staff and other team members.
  • Performing staff orientation, training, and coaching.
  • Providing input to staff performance evaluations.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
