Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and plans.
  • Interpret and communicate project specifications and plans to contractors and project staff.
  • Conduct basic testing and sampling to ensure quality control.
  • Record and report all field data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with project staff to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction inspection or a related field.
  • Proper certifications such as compaction, asphalt, concrete, or aggregate.
  • INDOT Construction Inspection Prequalification or ability to obtain within 6-12 months.
