Job Summary:

The OSP Construction Inspector - Field Operations Specialist will oversee, inspect, and monitor contractual fieldwork, which includes excavation, boring, placement of hand holes, aerial strand and fiber cable installation, grounding, and monitoring restoration of work areas per client's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle construction inspector duties in the field and travel to various locations as required.
  • Experience with construction and all aspects of inspections, including construction terminology and equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to conduct face-to-face meetings and communications with construction teams.
  • Self-managed and able to take work from beginning to end, with a high attention to detail and ability to take ownership of questions and work to an answer.
  • Ability to conduct inspections and monitor restoration of work areas, ensuring compliance with client standards and OSHA/State/Local Safety Standards.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Previous experience in an OSP construction inspection role is preferred.

Physical/Work Environment:

At Pearce Services, safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pearce Services offers a competitive compensation package, including hourly pay ranging from $24.00 to $29.00 DOE, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance), PTO, Paid Holidays, and a company-matching 401(k) Retirement and life Insurance.
