Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at HR Value Partners. This key role will play a crucial part in the financial operations, financial planning, and financial reporting of our growing private manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, and revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as complete internal and external financial audits.
  • Manage budget preparation and financial forecasting, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement business processes and accounting policies to continuously improve the company's financial health, and collaborate with auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Participate in strategic planning, fraud prevention, and budget development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or related qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Finance Manager, or Controller.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, particularly in managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using financial Excel functions.
  • Leadership skills and experience, with the ability to manage and develop a team.
