Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a correctional facility in North Carolina. As a Correctional LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to inmates in a secure and controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to inmates, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct health assessments, diagnose and treat medical conditions, and provide education to patients on health-related topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current North Carolina or Compact Nursing License.
  • At least 3 months of recent correctional experience or Behavioral Health/Psych experience.
  • AHA - BLS certification.
  • TB test within the last year.
