Head Cashier

As a Head Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate a team of cashiers to deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you oversee the daily operations of the cash register area, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout process for our customers.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by proactively visiting registers and providing direction/support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Operational Support: Assist with operational issues, such as potential customer assistance issues at the register, and maintain visibility of the exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Team Management: Schedule and oversee proper execution of meal and rest breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements, and assist in the hiring and training of new cashiers.

• Leadership Skills: Possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Communication Skills: Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to take direction and constructive criticism, and participate in a team environment.
• Operational Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of cash handling and mathematical skills, with the ability to operate front-end equipment, such as registers and scanners.
