Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of cashiers, assisting with operational issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Supervise and train a team of cashiers to ensure excellent customer service and efficient checkout processes.
• Assist with operational issues, such as resolving customer complaints and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Monitor and maintain cash register supply levels, and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
• Provide guidance and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist with scheduling and overseeing meal and rest breaks for team members.
• Participate in the hiring and training process for new cashiers, and take necessary steps for disciplinary actions.

• At least 18 years of age, high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior, with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment, including registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, with the ability to read, write, and count.
• Ability to lift and carry product weighing up to 30 pounds, and use both hands to move grocery carts.
