The Town of Lexington is seeking qualified individuals to work as Per-Diem Crossing Guard Assistants. This part-time position involves assisting with crossing locations on an intermittent and temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be punctual, attentive, and able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Report to assigned school crossings in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure the safe crossing of children.
  3. Report any unsafe conditions that may endanger school children.
  4. Comply with Department regulations.
  5. Do not enforce criminal or motor vehicle laws.


Proper safety equipment will be provided. The Town of Lexington is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
