Job Description

Edison Machine is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to manufacture new items and repair existing components. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mastercam and Okuma Machines Mills/Lathes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand blueprint designs to accurately manufacture components
  • Set up machinery for production, ensuring efficiency and quality
  • Rework metal to create the blueprint design, using precision tools and techniques
  • Measure and verify calculations prior to setting up machinery to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment to enhance productivity
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime
  • Enter relevant codes to specify feed, speed, and cut of toolpaths for CNC operations
  • Use measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers to verify component accuracy
  • Reverse engineering is a plus
