Position Summary:

The Construction Project Superintendent plays a pivotal role in overseeing the construction operations of a project, ensuring adherence to specifications while maintaining budgetary constraints and timelines. This position entails managing projects that range from complex to highly intricate. The Superintendent is tasked with coordinating, planning, and supervising craft superintendents, contractors, and related activities on-site. The ideal candidate will have the capability to manage discipline-specific scopes of work valued between $2MM and $10MM with minimal oversight from senior field leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications, budget, and timelines.
  • Handle projects of varying complexity with proficiency.
  • Coordinate and supervise craft superintendents and contractors on-site.
  • Manage discipline-specific scopes of work ranging from $2MM to $10MM independently.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience in construction management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A collaborative individual with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Proven track record in managing construction scopes for mid to large-scale projects.
  • Experience in Design/Build projects is advantageous.
  • Ability to comprehend project specifications thoroughly and identify field deviations.
  • Exceptional planning skills, particularly in utilizing Lean Tools for scheduling and constructability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with project management software, with a preference for PlanGrid.
  • Experience with mobile technology and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) applications is a plus.
  • Expertise in specific disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing.
