We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing optimal diagnostic results and patient care.
Responsibilities- Maintain established standards for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality results and patient satisfaction.
- Assist physicians in cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional radiologic procedures, utilizing ionizing radiation-producing equipment and patient monitoring equipment.
- Operate a range of equipment, including ionizing radiation-producing equipment, patient monitoring equipment, and other related equipment used in diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating an understanding of the functional and developmental needs of adult, older adult, and frail elderly patients.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a formal program of study accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology required.
- One to two years of experience in general diagnostic radiology required; one year of dedicated cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) required; additional certification in cardiovascular radiology preferred.
- CPR certification and re-certification on an annual basis through the American Heart Association required.
